Cheryl Cole exits the US version of ‘The X Factor’
Cheryl Cole has reportedly been dropped from the judging panel on the US version of ‘The X Factor’.
It’s thought that her replacement will be Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger, who had previously been signed as a co-host of the show.

According to sources, it’s said that producers had become concerned that her Geordie accent was too difficult for audiences in the US to understand, and that the chemistry between her and fellow judge Paula Abdul was lacking.
“She isn’t on the show anymore. Everyone is gobsmacked. This came out of nowhere,” a source told Usmagazine.com. “She had already been tested countless times. Simon had nothing to do with it. This is the network’s doing.”
Other reports have suggested that the decision was a mutual one with Simon Cowell, after the Girls Aloud singer became homesick for the UK.
Cole had already been filming auditions for the US ‘X Factor’ in the past two weeks, while the show itself is not due to air in the States until September.
