Megan Fox is expecting her first child with husband Brian Austin Green, according to source who confirmed the news to E! Online. Rumors first began to surface last month, though the Transformers star refused to comment on the matter.

The actress has made no secret of her desire to have children, telling the April issue of Cosmopolitan, “I want at least two, probably three kids. I’ve always been maternal”. It will be Fox’s first child, though Green already has a 10-year-old son Kassius with ex-Vanessa Marcil. News of the pregnancy was first broke by Star magazine in late March, with a source close to the couple saying, “They just found out and are incredibly excited. Megan has become a great stepmom, and Brian knows she’ll be wonderful with the baby.” The Hollywood pair first met while filming the sitcom ‘Hope and Faith’ together back in 2004 and they married in Hawaii, in June 2010. Of her relationship with the actor, Fox told MTV News, “I feel like I’m with my best friend. I’ve been with him for so long, so it feels natural and comfortable.”

Fox appears to have cleared her filming schedule for the foreseeable future – which fuelled the pregnancy rumors first time round. She recently completed the Judd Apatow comedy ‘This is Forty’, which will hit screens over the Christmas period 2012.
